Mr. Farrar has 15 years of experience in the private equity and corporate finance industry. In 2009, he joined Second City Capital Corporation and is a Managing Director. In addition, he is Executive Vice President of Second City’s affiliate Gibralt Capital Corporation. Prior to this, he spent seven years as the Vice President of a family office private equity investment fund with a diversified portfolio concentrated in the real estate, hospitality and manufacturing sectors. Over this time, Mr. Farrar was heavily involved in portfolio company acquisitions and divestitures with a combined enterprise value in excess of $900 million and completed over $300 million of financings. Prior to this, Mr. Farrar spent three years with TD Capital (now Birch Hill Equity Partners) as an investment professional. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1998, a Chartered Accountant designation in 1999, became a CFA charterholder in 2002 and received a Chartered Business Valuator designation in 2009. Mr. Farrar joined Bennett’s Board in 2010 and is currently a member of certain Board committees.
