The Hon. John D. Reynolds, P.C. has been a Senior Strategic advisor in law firm McMillan LLP’s Vancouver office since 2006. He was a leader of her majesties official opposition in 2000-2001. He has nearly 40 years of experience at the highest levels on national and provincial government, including Minister of the Environment of British Columbia from 1989 to 1991. He has served multiple terms as a Member of Parliament from 1972-1977 and again from 1997-2006. He also served as a Member of the British Columbia Legislative Assembly from 1983-1991, where he was Speaker of the Legislative Assembly from 1987-1989 before serving as Minister of the Environment. Appointed to the Queen’s Privy Council on February 6, 2006, Mr. Reynolds is recognized for his knowledge of the interrelationships between corporate strategy and government policy in the global economy.
